Description:Zoom Performance is a coaching service based out of the Des Moines area who offer many services - including coaching, bike fits, swim analysis, nutrition counseling, clinics etc. Check out their website at www.getzoomperformance.com. They have provided us with 2 training programs - one for beginners and one for more advanced triathletes - aimed at our races in April (Collegiate Nationals and the sprint race) starting Monday, January 5th, which members who have paid dues will be able to access via Training Peaks (www.trainingpeaks.com). Our group practices will reflect the workouts they have posted for the week. Any questions or comments you have about the training programs or your training should be posted under the Zoom Performance forum topic. They will also be holding 2 clinics for us in Iowa City - one in February and one in March. Look for the exact dates in the near future. We will be having a swim clinic, bike fit, informational sessions, and some group workouts with the coaches.

Every year Seatasea offers a small enclosed trailer to the team so that we can transport all of our bikes and equipment down to the Collegiate Nationals Race. Ken also provides kayaks and kayakers for our annual triathlons. Additionally, Seatasea has brought Quintana-roo representatives down to Iowa City for free wetsuit fittings and offered wetsuit and swimming equipment discounts to team members several times. They will examine your gait, arch, and stride while giving you multiple shoes to test fit to ensure you are completely satisfied with your running shoe selection.
