P90X - Day 10

Day 10 is a repeat of day 3, shoulders and arms. Nothing really new, still keeping up with videos. I will probably start weekly updates from here on.

Got in some swimming and alot of drinking today, and a good sun burn. Made up for entire week. It's 8:30 and I'm ready for bed.

I squeezed in a 3 mile jog yesterday at lunchtime and swam in the pool last night to finish off day 8. Water was 92 degrees, getting too warm.

Day 7 was the rest day. They suggest the stretch video, which I did do, since my legs were still sore from Tuesday's Legs and Back video.

Yesterday was day 6 and the video was Kenpo. Kenpo is similar to Taebo. Just alot of kicking and punching, with some jumping jacks in between to raise the heart rate.

I decided to wear my HR monitor. Results were interesting, just doing the kicking and punching I could only get my HR to 110. The jumping jacks for 30 sec did get me up to 130, but that was the max for the entire hour.

Yesterday was Legs and Back. Video was 58 minutes long with about 8 min of warm up and 5 of cool down, so 45 minutes of real work. I thought, lunges... they won't be tough, I won't even where my heart rate monitor. About 25 minutes in and 4 glasses of water later, I decided I was wrong. I was completely drenched in sweat. Lots of lunges and 8 sets of pull-ups/chin-ups. Great workout.
